Our friends, Josh and Dee, had a baby girl in January. Her name is Zada Marie Elieen Miranda. I scanned the birth announcement and printed it out on a sheet of printable fabric and went to work embellishing...
I LOVE doing stuff like this - especially when it's for two people as nice and as down to earth as Josh and Dee are...

The embroidery part is complete, I'm going to finish the collaging part tonight. I will post the completed pictures by the end of the week. We will be seeing them soon so it has to get done! Sometimes I work really well when there is a deadline looming. Why is that? Have a Blessed week:)

I am not familiar with the techniques you use but it looks so unique and professional.
It is beautiful! I love the flowers! Imm am sure they will love it too!
Such a beautiful job Cassie! It seems like I always do my best work in gifts for others, while my own projects don't ever seem to get finished...I guess that is a good thing. The wrapping paper technique is a great idea...there is gorgeous paper out there. Beautiful embroidery...did you read my post on my decision to abandon my pursuit of embroidery...at least for the time being? I just can't get it. Hope you have blessed week also,
Cheers
Awwww, how sweet.(the baby photo AND your lovely work). I'm sure the proud parents will treasure it.ea
