I really want to blog more often, I enjoy it, it's therapeutic, and it makes me happy:) So I am starting Photographic Fridays... 
With the start of the warmer weather, I plan to do a lot more picture taking. I love photographing simple, basic things and making them look pretty. Makes me grateful for all that I have. I can't wait to get started, have a wonderful week!

Sounds like a great idea to get the creativity flowing! I love the pic of the teacups; they remind me of a collection of antique cup-and-saucer pairs my mom inherited from my great-grandmother.
Thanks for the lovely compliments about my journal page!:-) It makes me feel great to hear positive feedback about my drawing...I don't consider myself very strong at all in this area, and this was only the second time I'd ever included a self-portrait in my artwork.
Your idea about the cup-and-saucer collage sounds like something my mom would enjoy very much! I will have to add it to my project list for this summer!
